Here’s why I think bark off is just great. The latest dog that I rescued was s a 6 month old pit-bull mix that just would not stop barking at night. The dog was keeping me and my son awake all night. We put up with it for about a week and by chance saw as ad on TV for bark off. When we got it, at first I didn’t think that it worked. She actually was barking more. I decided to actually give it a fair shake and by the third day she stopped altogether, no more barking at night. What a relief! Bark off totally worked on my dog. I had to give it a couple days though.
One thing that people don’t know about, if you hear your dog barking and let’s say your outside, you open the door and yell at the dog to keep quiet. You’re actually “rewarding” the dog for barking. The reason she’s barking is she wants attention, she misses you. If you acknowledge it by yelling you’re just telling her “if you bark, I’ll pay attention to you”
One way to use bark off is to turn it on till she’s quiet. When she’s quiet go play with her. A lot of dogs only get attention when they bark, that’s one of the reasons that they bark. Also when she’s quiet at random times just go over and play with her. Most dogs who bark a lot are being ignored by their owners that are why they bark. Using a device like bark off can help but is no substitute for attention.
Using a combination of bark off and positive reinforcement, teaching her by playing with her when she’s quiet should give your good results. Bark off works regardless but you should know why they bark in the first place, at least a lot of dogs anyway.

Here’s my bark off review. A few days ago, I’ve left the bark off device on in the garage since I bought it; I went into the garage to make sure the battery was still working. I was really surprised to find that it was missing. I couldn’t find it anywhere. I found this amazing as my dog, even without the bark off device on, was not barking anymore. It really worked! She has learned not to bark. Whenever I hear one of my friends complaining about their dogs barking problem, I recommend bark off. In fact I’ve heard that if you place it near a fence or somewhere near a neighbor’s dog that barks a lot, bark off will work for that too.

Bark off stopped our dogs from constantly barking! We have a small dog. We love her and she’s great but her non-stop barking just drives us crazy. She does it for no reason at all. I found bark off as an alternative to shocking bark collars. I didn’t want to use one of those as I’d heard they actually can hurt your dog. I also like the fact that she will bark in the middle of the night if there is a reason for it (another reason I like bark off, just turn it on or off). During the day though I just can’t take the non-stop barking. Even if we tell her to stop, she just keeps on barking.
Since getting bark off, what I do now is, when she starts barking, I tell her no! If she continues I’ll turn on bark off. If I do that it’s like turning a switch. She’ll stop barking almost at once. I turn bark off to the off position and leave it off till the next time she starts acting up. I don’t really like the idea of just leaving it on all day. I want to train her not to bark. It seems to be working.
I’ve now started taking bark off with me when I go for walks. If we’re out and she starts barking, I just turn it on and she immediately stops barking. I’d have to say that I’m really happy with the bark off tool. bark off does everything that it’s advertised to do.

Because both my husband and I had to relocate for work, we moved into a small apartment. They allowed dogs but we were afraid since our little pup barked so much it would be a problem. We saw the ad on TV for bark off and decided to order it. We were hoping bark off would work since our dogs sometimes can just bark non-stop when they hear someone outside. In an apartment building that would probably be all the time.
I was really skeptical about how well bark off would work but since it was only 2 for $10 I figured it why not try it out. It’s certainly much cheaper than expensive bark collars or spray collars. I didn’t really want to use those on our dog anyway.
Well the bark off package showed up at the door, I took it out and put a battery in it and turned it on. Soon after the doorbell rang. I was blown away, with bark off on, our little dog who always barks like crazy just barked once and looked around all startled. She growled a little, kind of quietly, and then settled down. Bark off is amazing!
A little later in the day, our realtor showed up and again rang the doorbell. I didn’t even have bark off on. Our dog didn’t even bark once. I was like Wow! We used to feel uncomfortable with our dog in hotel rooms and moving into a small apartment I really wasn’t sure what we’d do. The barking was out of control sometimes. Bark off really fixed a difficult situation.
